Only A Mountain (second album on Word records; third full-length album overall) available everywhere January 15th, 2013 Jason wrote or co-wrote on every song (11 tracks) Produced by Matt Bronleewe, Ben Glover, and David Garcia, the songs on Only a Mountain are fuelled by "the realization that life is beautiful," Castro says. "It's a lifestyle philosophy that i carry: What good can we do today? How can we be a light in the challenging world in which we currently live? I feel like I'm coming into my own. This is just my story to tell."

Music video for "Only A Mountain" released October 2012 with a significant push to radio, online and all other media outlets. "The Making of Only A Mountain" is a 7-part online video series.

The album's first radio single, "Only A Mountain," was added by K-Love and Air-1 before official radio add date. His self-titled debut album, released April 2010, debuted at No. 18 on Billboard Top 200 album Chart.

Castro's renditions of "Over the Rainbow" and "Hallelujah" both hit no. 1 on iTunes ® Singles Chart. On ABC's "The Bachelor Wedding Event", Castro performed "Over The Rainbow" and "That's What I'm Here For". He has also acted and performed in two episodes of "the Bold and The Beautiful". "Let's Just Fall In Love Again" was used by Overstock.com for a television commercial

Has co-written with Marc Roberge of O.A.R., Gregg Wattenberg (Five For Fighting), Zac Maloy (David Cook) and espionage (train).
