John 3:16 is probably the most quoted verse of the entire Bible. 'God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life.'
Those last two words are obviously very important, but in order to really get your head around what 'eternal life' is all about, you've actually got to look at the whole topic of 'forgiveness'.
