The gap between rich and poor is increasing.
The problems that go with this are immense: starvation and water shortages; lack of healthcare and education, increasing violence and wars, and the destruction of the earth we live on. The biblical story has justice at its heart and this study should help us apply it to contemporary living.
So what is a Christian response to these things?
Should we be concerned about them? If so, what can we do? Through exploring the biblical teaching on justice and then focusing on some contemporary issues (the environment, trade and debt, money and consumerism), this Cover to Cover Bible study aims to help us answer these questions. The author raises important and significant issues that touch all of our lives, which will create lively and thought-provoking discussions as well as raise further questions.
