Comedian Paul Kerensa is a church-hopper. He takes the stage each Saturday, and communion each Sunday, wherever his trusty satnav has sent him. Far from home, you can find comedy – and God – in a whole host of places, from Charismatics to Catholics to cafés to chapels on cruise-liners.
PaulÂ’s seen all sides of the church and it's just as varied as the stag dos, work dos and no-can-dos of stand-up comedy. ItÂ’s a tale of two circuits, of pulpits and bearpits. Along the way Paul will play to zero people and to seven million, via the rocky road of heckles and putdowns (and thatÂ’s just the churches).
Welcome to PaulÂ’s party, the theme: arts and vicars.
